How Does Plasma Pen Work? FDA Approved Plamere Plasma Pen has a tip that converts power into an electrostatic impulse. For a tenth of a second a microchannel opens up in the skin layer and the heat from the plasma flash causes the excess fluid to evaporate out of the skin. This results in an immediate tightening. How Long Does Plasma Pen Treatments Last? When the skin is tightening, the effect will also cause a lift as the surrounding skin is pulled together. The result of the lip flip is highly individual, some may reach great effect at first treatment and others may need 2-3 times before they gain their desired results. The results are long lasting, it doesn’t prevent the natural aging process. The results will last at a minimum rate of 4-6 years, but most times even longer depending on your habits.
